ISO and Responsibility

At Coredesign, we work systematically with quality, the environment and responsible working conditions.

 

We are certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, which form the framework for our work with quality assurance, environmental impact and continuous improvement. We assess both suppliers, materials and production when advising our customers. Where relevant, we offer products with documented certifications and material standards such as FSC®, GOTS, GRS, RCS and OEKO-TEX®.

 

Our code of conduct describes our expectations regarding working hours, wages, occupational safety, child labor and the working environment, among other things. We prioritize suppliers who can document their work with responsible conditions, and follow up when needed.

 

We prioritize products from suppliers who can document responsible working conditions and relevant certifications. We contribute to taking social responsibility by supporting organizations such as the Danish Children's Cancer Foundation, Hus Forbi and the Red Cross.

 

We have also employed students, interns and people in flexible jobs, where the City of Copenhagen refers us.

In August 2020, Cristina Neumann contacted Coredesign A/S for help with an assessment process, and we agreed to assist her. After 10 months, she had a permanent employment contract at Coredesign in a flexi-job arrangement.

 

Coredesign is passionate about the environment, quality and management. In 2020, we dedicated ourselves to preparing for the next big project: achieving ISO certification in the areas of environment and quality. Our company was reviewed down to the smallest detail to streamline processes and reduce complaints. Today, we are proud to have achieved both certifications, which recognize the hard work that goes into every work process in our company.

 

Documentation rather than broad claims:

We avoid labeling products as sustainable without further documentation. Instead, we describe the specific properties, such as recycled material, certified cotton, FSC®-certified paper, or documentation through GRS, RCS, GOTS, and OEKO-TEX®.

This makes it easier for our customers to make a choice on an informed and documented basis.
